About Us

K-9 Angels was founded in 2012 by Victoria Featherstone Pearce, Pola Pospieszalska, and Anneka Tanaka with the aim to fight against needless animal suffering worldwide. We focus on helping dogs across Eastern Europe, Cyprus, Asia, and the UK. K-9 Angels is currently run by Victoria and Pola while Anneka is pursuing her passion through independent animal-based projects.

Our Mission

The mission at K-9 Angels is to end needless animal suffering across the planet. Our commitment is to rescue, care for, and rehome stray dogs. We also provide aid through our shelters where the dogs can be kept safe and comfortable, providing essential neutering and spaying, and other medical procedures.

Our Inspiration: Angel

K-9 Angels was inspired by a dog named Angel. She was abandoned in a forest in Romania and left starving sleeping in cardboard box at risk of being shot by local hunters.

At the time the founders were just three friends who have known each other from London entertainment scene. Seeing Angel’s plight on Facebook, we came together to help her.

She ended up coming to London and later flying to her forever home in the USA. Her happy ending touched our hearts and was such an elating experience for us all that she became the catalyst for starting K-9 Angels.

Her journey was the start of countless dogs getting the second chance at life that they deserve, and we are forever grateful for meeting her. Thank you, Angel.
